IOF tightens security at Hamra checkpoint, obstructing Eid travel

Israeli forces injured a Palestinian young man in Ramallah and tightened security at the Hamra checkpoint, disrupting Eid al-Adha travel. The IOF raided several towns, including Birzeit, Kobar, and Abu Shukheidim, with no reported arrests. Palestinian movement remains heavily restricted in the Jordan Valley.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) injured a Palestinian young man in the northeast of Ramallah and imposed strict security measures at the Hamra checkpoint in the Jordan Valley on Friday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed Dura al-Qari and opened fire on local youths, injuring one in the thigh.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics provided first aid to the wounded young man before transferring him to the hospital.

The IOF also raided the towns of Birzeit, Kobar, and Abu Shukheidim in northern Ramallah, with no reported arrests.

In the northern Jordan Valley, the IOF tightened security measures at the Hamra checkpoint, obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens and vehicles on the first day of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
