AhlulBayt News Agency: He said that on the 19th of Ramadan, when Ibn Muljam struck Hazrat Ali (AS) with his sword, a voice echoed between the heavens and the earth: “By God, the pillars of guidance have collapsed.”
He emphasized that this incident teaches us that the struggle for a sacred mission must continue, even if it demands the sacrifice of life. Alongside this, it is essential to understand the mission of the person who was martyred, so that efforts can be made to keep that mission alive.
The Prophet (PBUH) had said: “O Ali! I fought for the revelation of the Qur'an, and you will fight for its interpretation and preservation.” The mission of Hazrat Ali (AS) was to safeguard and explain the teachings of the Qur'an and to establish a just system at all levels.
Allama Sajid Naqvi further stated that the solution to Pakistan’s current problems also lies in a transparent, fair, and justice-based system of governance, guided by the principles of the exemplary leadership of Ameer al-Mu'mineen (Hazrat Ali AS). Such a system can eliminate oppression, prevent injustice and the denial of rights, and ensure that every citizen receives their basic rights.
He added that class divisions and discrimination must be eliminated from society. There should be practical demonstrations of unity, brotherhood, and tolerance. Extremism, sectarianism, and hatred should be completely eradicated. The country should witness an era of peace, prosperity, and development. The economic system should be exemplary, and the social structure should be elevated through Amr bil Ma'ruf (enjoining good) and Nahi 'anil Munkar (forbidding evil), to such an extent that other societies in the world consider it an honor to follow it.
