AhlulBayt News Agency: The shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf organized a grand iftar feast to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS).
The event was held at the revered shrine of Imam Ali (AS) and included the distribution of iftar meals to worshippers and fasting visitors in the Fatima al-Zahra (SA) Courtyard.
Miqdad al-Kharsan, a staff member at the shrine's guesthouse, stated, "The guesthouse prepared more than 6,000 iftar meals, 4,500 of which were distributed in the Fatima al-Zahra (SA) Courtyard."
He added that the iftar feast initiative will continue throughout Ramadan, serving various community groups, including orphans and the underprivileged.
"This program will also be extended to the nights of Qadr and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS)," he said.
In addition to the iftar feast, the shrine underwent extensive floral decorations to mark the occasion. According to the shrine's official website, the decoration team adorned the holy site with 25,000 natural flowers on the 15th of Ramadan, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS).
