AhlulBayt News Agency: Indian supreme religious authority Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi said in the past British rulers sized the Bada Imam Bada.
Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi said: The British had seized the Bada Imam Bada, which our ancestor late Ayatollah Syed Ibrahim freed.
He stated that is was Ayatollah Syed Ibrahim who established Friday prayers and congregational prayers here, and the process of holding gatherings and mourning was restarted.
He accused regional government that now, this very British occupation is being used as evidence to declare it a government property.
Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi, the Friday Imam of Shahi Asifi Mosque in Lucknow, mentioned after Friday prayers that we are witnessing the oppression faced by Shia Muslims around the world.
He added that we see in the narrations: "In the last days, Shia Muslims will face oppression from all sides." We are observing this in Pakistan, Syria, and many other countries.
He said: It is unfortunate that in our country as well, Imam Bargahs are being removed from Waqf and being declared government property.

Maulana explained the oppression of the British, saying: Property of Indian who refuse to support the British were declared as "nuzul". If the property is listed in nuzul, is absolutely not government property; they belong to the loyal Indian patriots, which the British declared as "nuzul."
Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi further said: When we asked the District Magistrate of Lucknow for the lease papers of the Hussainabad Trust lands, he called it a private Waqf. That means the entire Hussainabad Trust, including both the Chota and bada Imam Bada, is a private Waqf. On the other hand, an official is calling the Bada and Chota Imam Bada government property. Now, it's unclear who is lying in this matter.
Condemning the supporters of the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024, Maulana Syed Kalb Jawad Naqvi said: Anyone who looks at the property of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) with an evil eye will be destroyed.
Those who raise their children on haram wealth will see their generations ruined. Declaring Imam Bargahs as government property is supporting the oppression of the British, and such people will be ruined.
