AhlulBayt News Agency: The Encyclopedia of Quran and History, as a comprehensive encyclopedia with more than a thousand entries in various specialized fields, was unveiled at Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought in the presence of seminary scholars.
The unveiling ceremony of the Encyclopedia of Quran and Islamic History was held on Wednesday, January 22 in Marefat Hall of the Institute. The keynote speakers of the event were Professor Ali Akbar Rashad, the head of the Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought, and Hujjat al-Islam Abolqassem Moghimi Haji, the head of the Institute of Religious Encyclopedia Writing.
The head of the Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought Professor Ali Akbar Rashad under whose supervision the Encyclopedia of Quran and History was compiled, described this encyclopedia as a noble and precious work, adding,” The Holy Quran is an ocean with invisible borders and unknown depth, and no one can claim to have reached the depths of this ocean.”
The head of the Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, pointing out that a significant number of scholars and professors have served in compiling the Encyclopedia of Quran and History, said, "The Encyclopedia's Scientific Council has dedicated weekends, from before sunrise to the noon prayer, to compile this work."
