AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a message of condolences on the demise of the late Ahmed Jibril, the late Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the President described him as a warrior who devoted his entire life to defending the lofty cause of the oppressed Palestinian people and strengthening the Resistance.
The text of Dr Hassan Rouhani's message is as follows;
We belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return (Holy Quran)
The passing of the tireless warrior, the late Ahmed Jibril, the late Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, caused great grief and sorrow.
This militant and hard-working figure devoted his entire life to defending the lofty cause of the oppressed Palestinian nation and strengthening the Resistance Front, and left a rich record that will always remain in the memory of the free nations, especially the Palestinian people.
I offer my condolences to the Palestinian people and the family of the warrior for this loss, and pray to the Almighty for him.
