Iran's President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasised five axes for restoration of security and stability to Syria and described continuation of combatting all terrorist groups in Syria until their uprooting essential.

President appreciated the hospitality of the Russian government and nation and said, “Our joint goal is serious fight against terrorism, restoring stability and security to Syria, drafting a new constitution and establishing a democratic government in the country”.

Joint statement Issued by presidents of Iran, Russia, Turkey

Presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Turkey issued a joint statement at the end of the Sochi Summit and stressed strong commitment to sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of Syria.

President Hassan Rouhani left Tehran, heading for Sochi, Russia, on Thursday morning to take part at the tripartite summit of Iran, Russia and Turkey on Syria.
