AhlulBayt News Agency: The memorial service for Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Ishaq Fayyaz, was held on the evening of Friday (June 12, 2026) on behalf of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the Imam Khomeini (RA) Prayer Hall at the Shrine of Lady Fatimah Masoumah (SA) in Qom.
The leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky—a man who has himself faced state-sponsored massacre, imprisonment, and the loss of his children at the hands of security forces—has issued a heartfelt message of condolence on the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Ishaq al-Fayyaz, declaring the loss of the paramount Shia Marja' a blow that reverberates from the hallowed seminaries of Najaf to the farthest reaches of the Muslim world.
