Sacrifice

The beautiful tradition of the Prophet (PBUH) on Eid al-Adha

In a narration, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) emphasized the sacrifice on the day of Eid al-Adha to such an extent that he recommended borrowing money to perform it if necessary. He himself would offer two sacrifices: one on his own behalf, and another on behalf of those members of his Ummah who wished to sacrifice but could not afford it.
