In a statement released on Friday evening, the spokesman offered condolences to the families of victims of this criminal terrorist act as well as Pakistani people and government.
Qasemi noted that as long as there are some people who use the language of force, killing and massacre instead of the language of logic and dialogue to reach their sinister goals and as long as a number of regional states seek their interests in spread of instability, terrorism and extremism, there would be no hope for rooting out the cancerous tumor of terrorism.
'Undoubtedly, wrongdoers and promoters of violence and terror will pay a heavy price for their crimes,' the spokesman added.
He noted that eradication of terrorism in the region and the world is not possible unless there is an iron will for cutting off terrorists' financia and spiritual sources and all governments take part in an honest and collective mechanism for cooperation.
A terrorist blast outside an Imambargah in northwestern city of Parachinar in Pakistan on Friday killed at least 22 people and wounded 50 others.
