Grand Ayatollah Bashir Najafi's message to the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference

Grand Ayatollah Bashir Najafi, top Iraqi jurisprudent sent his message for the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference stressing importance of Islamic unity and foiling hostile plots.

Top cleric in his message reminds promises of God Almighty for victory of Muslims.

Ayatollah Bashir Najafi referred to the hostile anti-Islamic plots and added," These invasions target collapse of Islam and we are witness to different aspects of that across the globe."

Iraqi figure also touched upon the danger of Takfiri moves for the world of Islam saying," At present different Islamic denominations are seemingly defend Islam while they damage the holy religion o Islam in the form of Takfiri groups with looting and mass murdering of the civilians on top of their agenda."

Top cleric concluded with hopes for solidarity among Muslims and the liberation of Islamic lands from the enemies.

Referring to “enemy’s plot” against Islam, his eminence said these plots are aimed to wipe out Islam from the face of the earth and we are currently witnessing remnants of that [plot] across the globe.

Hundreds of Sunni and Shia scholars and intellectuals from more than 60 countries are gathered in the Tehran-hosted conference under the slogan of “Unified Islamic Ummah: Challenges and Strategies” to discuss ways to promote unity and solidarity in the Muslim world.

This year’s conference will focus on problems facing the Islamic world such as the threat posed by the Takfiri militants.
