AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hosted by the Cultural Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Pakistan, the memorial ceremony for Martyrs Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayed Safieddine coincided with the funeral procession of the martyrs of the Resistance in Beirut.
The event was attended by prominent figures, including Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly; Dr. Nourian; Allama Sayed Razi Jafar; Dr. Talebi Nia; Allama Aqeel Anjum, Deputy Leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Noorani in Sindh province; Hujjat al-Islam Dadserasht; Allama Shubayr Maysami, Secretary-General of the Shiite Ulema Council of Pakistan; and a large gathering of Shiite and Sunni scholars and dignitaries from Pakistan.
Molana Aqeel Anjum and Dr. Nourian were among the speakers at the event, while the Sobh-e-Zohour choir performed a hymn during the ceremony.
As the keynote speaker, Ayatollah Dorri-Najafabadi stated, “I thank God that although I was unable to attend the funeral procession of Martyr Nasrallah and Sayed Hashem Safieddine in Lebanon, I was able to participate in this ceremony in the brotherly country of Pakistan. Zealous people worldwide are following this funeral closely.”
He continued, “Everyone present at this memorial ceremony is, in essence, standing on the frontlines of the Resistance. All those mourning in this battle of truth against disbelief proclaim their readiness to fight on the frontlines of faith and sacrifice.”
The Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly further noted, “I extend my gratitude to the great nation of Pakistan and its officials for their support of the Muslims of Palestine and Lebanon during the recent war.”
