AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): To develop relations between Iran and Pakistan, a group of representatives from the Gilgit-Baltistan provincial assembly of Pakistan traveled to Iran at the invitation of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University.
With the efforts of the International Affairs Department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, these representatives visited the Innovation Center of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology at the Tehran International Exhibition, aiming to familiarize with the achievements and advancements of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Additionally, four representatives and political figures from Gilgit-Baltistan visited the Research Center of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament) as part of parliamentary cooperation between Iran and Pakistan. During a meeting with the officials of the Research Center, they were briefed on the center’s operations and explored potential areas of collaboration. These representatives and political figures from Gilgit-Baltistan evaluated Iran’s legislative process as effective and well-organized.
The Pakistani delegation continued their visit to Iran by attending a meeting at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly. During the meeting, which was attended by Hojat al-Islam Moinian, the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the delegation became acquainted with the activities of the Assembly and its affiliated institutions, including the AhlulBayt (a.s.) International University.
It is worth mentioning that this group of Pakistani representatives also visited the mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.).
