In a recent statement, Allama Syed Baqar Hussaini, the President of Anjuman Imamia Baltistan, raised concerns about the ongoing operation in Kurram. He questioned how many killers have been caught so far in the operation.
He pointed out that there are videos and pictures of hundreds of killers from Bagan massacre circulating on social media, but none of these killers have been arrested during the Pakistani security forces operation.
The Shia cleric said: For three months Shia people been targeted and murdered, but none of the killer has not been arrested so far, which has raised suspicions that state institutions might be involved in these incidents.
He further added: we have heard that government is giving mountains on lease. We have repeatedly said that these mountains and minerals belong to the people of the region.
