AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Recently the floods hit many states of Iran. Majority of the world humanitarian organization remained dead silent and left the victims uncensored. Moreover USA blocked the Humanitarian Aid to the flood victims of Iran and surely many US dominated countries had to oblige by the Trumph Govt and put the order into action, finally they did.
However the reaction from the common people of Kashmir was reversely their opposite. Though the leaders who were in front row receiving the Aid from Iran in 2014 floods didn’t join the common people.
Many NGOs, religious and humanitarian organizations based in Kashmir put their stunt effort and started the campaigns for the donations for the flood victims of Iran.
Simultaneously all the organizations in Kashmir who stood for the flood victims of Iran were pleased to see the sudden and positive response from the people. People were continuously asking for the ways that can help them to send donations to the victims as soon as possible. People went on social media platforms to get any fast means to send donations to the victims quickly.
And the centuries old humanitarian, religious, cultural, social, political and economic relationship was seen through different episodes from the valley.
People donated suddenly what they thought could help the victims at the first go. And yes, one of the most mentionable spiritual episode was seen. When many daughters of revolution who didn’t allow us to mention their name s donated their valuable golden garments like golden rings, golden necklace and golden tops that they were gifted by their parents and husbands on their marriages.
Traditionally the golden garment gifts by parents and husband are considered the most valuable presents and Kashmiri women are obliged to secure them anyhow. Though not usually some sell when facing any major hardships. This episode has really disclosed the deep relationship, love and affection with the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
This spiritual episode didn’t only show us that women helped victims. Rather inculcated the notion. How we are ready to pay our most valuables? When imam calls.
