'Dividing the Sunnis and Shias in order to achieve illegitimate goals in the region is the policy of the Zionist regime and the US,' Member of Jamiat Ulama-e Hind (Organisation of Indian Islamic Scholars) Maulana Javed Qasmi said on Monday in Hussain Day Grand Ceremony.
“Saudi Arabia is committing genocide in Yemen with the help of the Zionists and the US,” Javed Qasimi said while condemning the Riyadh regime for massacre of the Yemeni people.
'The US leaves the dictators alone upon their expiring period,” he said while referring to the fate of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
“Imam Hossein (PBUH) message is to establish peace and security and to reject tyranny and Islam prevailed due to his sacrifice,” he further said.
Imam Hossein (PBUH) was Prophet Muhammad's grandson who was martyred by the Umayyad Caliphate in 680 AD.
