(AhlulBayt News Agency) - President of 'Pakistan National Solidarity Council' praising late Imam Khomeini for initiating Islamic 'Unity Week', says Muslims need to unite to defeat the evil designs of enemies of Islam.
Dr Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair said Imam Khomeini was a true visionary leader who knew that Muslims only through unity can fight the conspiracies against Islam.
The Islamic Unity Week is marked between 12-17th Rabi-ul-Awwal on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair said that most of the problems of Muslim world are created by the Zionists and Western anti-Islam forces.
He was of the view that unity of Muslim world has always been stressed by visionary leaders but today it has become need of hour.
The religious leader said enemies of Islam are making conspiracies to weaken Muslims by dividing them. “Western world is trying to capture the resources of Muslim world,” he said.
He believed that Muslims only through their unity can fight the conspiracies against them. “Islamic Unity Week is highly significant today when the conspiracies against Islam are at their peak,” he viewed.
He said that Muslims have to leave their differences and remain vigilant against Zionists plots against them. “Muslims can expose the anti-Islam schemes through unity,” he said.
The religious leader said Western countries and the Zionist regime are behind the creation of terrorist group Daesh. “What Daesh is doing right now is totally prohibited in Islam as it is religion of peace and harmony,” he said. He noted that Daesh is destroying the holy sites of Islam which is against the spirit of Islam.
He said that Muslim must come to know that anti-Islamic forces in Western world are trying to weaken them but they can overcome all challenges by forging unity among themselves.
Since its inception, the Islamic Unity Week has been marked annually, not only in Iran, but also throughout the world, and has played an important role in bringing the various Islamic Schools of Thought on a single platform.
