Pakistan observes death anniv. of 'Muhammad Ali Jinnah'

Sunday was the 68th death anniversary of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who had led from the front and got a homeland for Pakistanis.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Sunday was the 68th death anniversary of founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who had led from the front and got a homeland for Pakistanis.

Jinnah had worked very hard to bring Pakistan on the map and fought against the odds with honesty. He passed away on 11 September 1948 due to illness and Pakistanis lost a great leader. But his life a role model for Pakistan and his policies can still make Pakistan one of the best nations in the world.

He worked hard for bringing Pakistan on the world map. He was first Pakistan’s Governor-General until his death. His birthday is observed as a national holiday in Pakistan.

Jinnah worked to establish the new nation’s government and policies, and to aid the millions of Muslim migrants who had emigrated from the new nation of Indian to Pakistan after independence. He was personally supervising the matters of refuges.

Pakistani nation and specially Shia organizations commemorate the death anniversary of Mohammad Ali Jinnah, a Shia Muslim, who is founder of Pakistan and father of nation. Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced the condolence congregation to rest departed soul of Mr. Jinnah in eternal peace.

Government authorities-based in Karachi including top provincial officials and representatives of the armed forces laid floral wreaths and offered prayer at the grave of Mr. Jinnah who Pakistanis called Quaid-e-Azam (the greatest leader).

Sindh Uni organises event demise anniversary of Jinnah 

Sindh University organised a program to mark the 68th death anniversary of Mohammad Ali Jinnah at the auditorium of its city campus here on Sunday. A big number of students, teachers, and citizens attended this event.

Speaking on the occasion, Pro Vice Chancellor Sindh University Campus Dadu Dr Anwar Ali Shah G Syed said that Unity, Faith, and Discipline are as much effective and important today as they were during the freedom movement.

He added that extremism, dictatorships and narrow-mindedness were in fact indirect assaults on this motto of the founder of the nation. He said that roles of other great Muslim leaders in the creation of Pakistan cannot be forgotten as well.

Professor Akmal Nawaz Abbasi said that the best way to pay homage to our founder is to protect and promote his vision.
