AhlulBayt News Agency: A large crowd of Jordanians gathered on Tuesday for the funeral of Jordanian martyr Maher al-Jazi, who carried out the Karameh Border Crossing operation, resulting in the deaths of three Israeli occupation forces soldiers.
After performing the funeral prayer for al-Jazi, his body was carried on the shoulders of mourners, wrapped in the Jordanian flag, and laid to rest in his hometown of Husseiniya, in Ma'an Governorate.
Al-Jazi’s family, from the al-Huwaitat tribe, received his body from Jordanian authorities this morning after it had been held by "Israel" for 8 days.
Al-Jazi conducted a shooting operation at the Karameh Border Crossing, which connects Jordan and the occupied West Bank, on September 8th, killing three Israeli soldiers.
Following the operation, the al-Huwaitat tribe issued a statement, calling it a "natural response" to the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
The tribe emphasized that the blood of their martyr "is not more precious than the blood of our Palestinian brothers," affirming that "he will not be the last martyr."
