Pro-Palestinian demonstrations held in Italy

On the eve of the birth of Jesus Christ (AS), Italians demonstrated again in support of the people of Gaza and condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the eve of the birth of Jesus Christ (AS), Italians demonstrated again in support of the people of Gaza and condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime.

Thousands of Italians and Palestinian supporters held Palestinian flags and chanted anti-Israeli slogans in the center of Rome late on Saturday, demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Fabio Marcelli, an Italian university professor, and lawyer, told the Iran Press: "In the past two months, more than 20,000 people have been massacred in the Gaza Strip, and the killing of Palestinians and the hunger and thirst of the people of Gaza continue, and we are protesting the genocide of the Palestinian people by the regime."

This university professor stated: "It is shameful that the international community does not have a serious reaction to the plight of the Palestinians in Gaza. The US and its allies do not even allow the United Nations to fulfill its duties in helping the people of Gaza."

This university professor stressed that the nations should raise their voice against the US and the Israeli regime and emphasized that criminal perpetrators must be brought to the International Criminal Court to be tried and punished.

Demonstrators also condemned the Italian government's full support for the Zionist regime since the beginning of the Gaza war, ignoring the killing of Palestinians. At the same time, several pro-Palestinian activists gathered in front of the British Embassy in Rome and condemned the support of the United Kingdom and the United States to the Zionist regime. A few days ago, other activists gathered in front of the office of the Leonardo industrial group, which operates in the military and security industries.
