AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Speaker of the Indian House of Ulema, Syed Mehdi Hosseini described Imam Ali (AS) as the righteous servant of God, and the ideal model of servitude and justice.
On the occasion of World Peace Day, the conference "Global Coalition of Non-Governmental Organizations for Peace, Justice and Convergence of Nations" was held by the World Islamic Peace Forum in cyberspace, attended by a number of scholars and thinkers from different countries.
Among the participants were Syed Mehdi Hoseini, the Chairman of the Indian Assembly of Ulama, and Firuz Miti Borwala, the National secretary General of the India-Palestine Solidarity Association, on behalf of Iran"s Cultural House Indian city of Mumbai.
Syed Hosseini, emphasizing the need for social justice in society, said social justice means justice in all parts of society. Social justice prevents chaos and frees society from chaos.
He added: Imam Ali (as) is a perfect model of observing and doing justice in society and it should be said that a society in which social justice is not observed will lead to exhaustion and death and will eventually disappear.
Firuz Miti Borwala spoke about the role of non-governmental organizations in establishing peace and justice in the world and combating oppression and violence, and the role of mass media and the culture of peace and justice.
He cited the important role of the mass media in government decisions as an example of the Vietnam War and the role of the media in influencing US government decisions.
The Conference of the Global Coalition of Non-Governmental Organizations for Peace, Justice and the Convergence of Nations will be held in five phases in 1400 and 1401 to lay the groundwork for this global coalition.
