After comparing the Saudi statements to the Israeli ones, especially that of the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir and Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli War Minister Moshe Ya'alon commented on the issue considering: "It is not coincidence to hear the Saudi spokesperson speak in Arabic what we say in Hebrew, we simply view the Iranians as a common enemy."
Elaborating further on the possibility of publicly uncovering ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel, Ya'alon said: "I won't be surprised if this happened in the near future."
For its part, Makan considered that "Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman believes there is no option for denying talks with Israel to fight the Iranian expansionism."
