AhlulBayt News Agency: Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin called on Sunday for “stopping the slaughter of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.”
“We need a ceasefire in Gaza and a surge of humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians,” Martin said in a press statement.
We urgently need an end to the violence and slaughter of civilians and children, he stressed.
He further expressed deep concern over “the WHO reports that an Israeli attack has put out of action the last major hospital in North Gaza.”
In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 450th consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 45,514 martyrs and the number of wounded has surged to 108,189 since October 7, 2023.
