Gaza, scene of Israeli regime's defeat, Western hypocrisy: Razavi Shrine Custodian

The Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi highlighted Israel's failure to achieve its goals in Gaza and the West's hypocritical stance.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi highlighted Israel's failure to achieve its goals in Gaza and the West's hypocritical stance.

Speaking in a ceremony marking the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ahmad bin Musa Shahcheragh in the southern city of Shiraz, Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, the AQR’s Custodian, stated: “None of Israel's declared objectives in Gaza were achieved”.

He emphasized that the Israeli regime failed to realize its goals and that the West, claiming to uphold human rights, not only remained silent but also supported Israel's brutal attacks on defenseless people of Gaza through military, political, and propaganda means, revealing its true face.

“Israel had three goals: freeing prisoners, destroying Hezbollah, and capturing Gaza. None of these were accomplished”, Ayat. Marvi noted.

He called the freedom of prisoners and the destruction of Hezbollah failed dreams, pointing out that Israel couldn't free a single prisoner and that Hamas was not destroyed, as evidenced by the need for a ceasefire.

AQR’s custodian criticized Western countries for their silence and support of Israeli crimes, highlighting their hypocrisy.

He also mentioned Hezbollah's resilience despite the martyrdom of leaders like Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, stressing “Resistance is an ideology, not dependent on individuals”.

He went on to say, “Internal unity to counter enemy threats is highly significant, as outlined in the Leader's warning about the enemy's strategies of creating division, fear, and despair”.

Ayat. Marvi urged the Iranian nation to maintain national unity and avoid internal conflicts.

AQR’s top official warned against the enemy's tactic of fear-mongering to weaken people's morale, urging the media to avoid amplifying the enemy's image.

He drew lessons from the Battle of Uhud (625 AD), where Muslims' faith grew stronger despite losses, and emphasized the importance of religious insight and following leadership to avoid misguidance.

Ayat. Marvi concluded by commemorating Hazrat Ahmad bin Musa Shahcheragh's martyrdom, highlighting his role in uniting Shia around Imam Reza and his sacrifice for the cause of Imamate and Wilayah (Arabic term that refers to the concept of guardianship, authority, and leadership in Islamic context).
