AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Bahraini journalist Aqeel Swar has been ordered to appear for questioning by Manama’s security services.
Swar shared a copy of the summons on his Twitter page that requires him to appear before the kingdom’s so-called Cybercrime Directorate on Wednesday morning.
The document offers no reasons for the summons.
Earlier in the year, Swar was summoned for questioning after criticizing Bahrain’s interior ministry over its crackdown against social media users.
