AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Bahrain’s opposition Al-Wefaq movement on Monday emphasized on the necessity to “radically tackle the suffocating political crisis” in the country.
In an open address ahead of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council summit, the opposition movement stressed on the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council “great responsibilities to provide security and stability in the region” and “completely end the crisis with neighboring countries.”
The Persian Gulf Cooperation Council heads of state summit, hosted by Saudi Arabia, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
Al-Wefaq also called for halting all moves aimed at normalizing ties with the Zionist entity, warning “against falling into the dangerous plots woven by the Zionists to destroy the people and wealth of our region.”
