AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): At least six Bahraini youths have reportedly been arrested by Manama’s security forces in the early hours of Tuesday.
It isn’t clear if all those detained are minors but local activist Ebtisam al-Saegh described the six as ‘students’.
Two of them were picked up by police on Bahrain’s Sitra Island while the other four were arrested in the small village of Bu Quwah.
The reasons for the arrests remain unknown.
Many of the Bahrainis taken into police custody are routinely held without proper cause and subjected to torture and other forms of ill-treatment.
