AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's President sent a message to congratulate Eid al-Fitr to all Muslims, especially Iranians, and stressed, “Eid al-Fitr is festival of empathy among nations and manifestation of Muslims’ power, as well as continuation of unity among Muslim community”.
Dr Hassan Rouhani wrote in his message, “I would like to congratulate Eid al-Fitr to all Muslims, especially the pious people of great Iran”.
“Eid al-Fitr is the festival of cooperation and empathy; the festival of helping the needy, meeting relatives, being together, and in its real sense, manifestation of the authority of Muslims and continuation of unity among the Muslim community,” wrote the President.
He also wrote, “I would like to appreciate people’s passionate presence in Laylat al-Qadr praying and Quds Day public protests, wishing the great Iranian nation pride and dignity in all fields”.
