Iranian FM: Quds belongs to Muslims, Palestinian nation

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Friday that Quds belongs to all the Muslims and the Palestinian nation.

Speaking to reporters during today's Quds Day rallies in Tehran, Zarif said that no one is allowed to cede the Muslims’ Qibla to the Americans or the Zionist regime or do any other act that would shatter the cause of Palestine.

Today’s message is that Quds cannot be sold, Zarif said, noting that Quds does not belong to the US so as to offer it to the Zionist regime and they cannot make any claim about Quds either.

He also expressed regret over an anti-Iran statement by certain Arab leaders, saying that a handful of Arab leaders wishfully assume that they can save themselves and attain their goals if they stand by Netanyahu.

“Netanyahu, who has not been able to protect himself with reliance on its 'Iron Doom', how can he manage to support these countries?” Zarif asked.

He advised OIC member states to focus on the principles the organization and support the Palestinian people and Quds.
