Islam’s system of ethics directs man towards boundless perfection

The president of Imam Khomeini Institute stressed that no joy is above the knowledge of God, and Islam’s system of ethics directs the man towards the pinnacle of a boundless perfection.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The president of Imam Khomeini Institute stressed that no joy is above the knowledge of God, and Islam’s system of ethics directs the man towards the pinnacle of a boundless perfection.

Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, the chairman of Imam Khomeini Institute of Education and Research, in the fifth session of the series of sessions held in Qom office of the supreme leader of the revolution for the month of Ramadan, saying that the task of the wisdom is to understand the issues, mentioned, “Wisdom is like a light, it understands facts and shows the true path.”

He added, “As the light illuminates, the wisdom recognises the right from the wrong. The man is free, and he should have an internal motivation for conducting the right deeds; here ethics acts as his motivation, and if he follows the codes of ethics, this straight path directs him towards the said perfection.”

He added, “when someone is weak in terms of belief or morality, he will be hindered and face many doubts. If the man knows himself better, he will reaches broader knowledge of Heaven, and thus, this principle requires him to diligently study the purpose beyond the creation of the man.”

The prominent teacher of Qom Seminary pointed out, “There is no mercy and joy above the knowledge of God. Thanks to the love towards God, creatures are created, develop and promote to the pinnacle of the Heavenly mercy and kindness. Islam’s system of ethics put the man on a path reaching a boundless perfection. Such perfection is attained when the man enjoys freedom, and without this factor, he wouldn’t deserve the pure mercy of God.”
