Takfirism has nothing to do with Islamic teachings

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Astan Quds Razavi Custodian Hoj. Raesi say Takfirisim has nothing to do with Islam’s true teachings.

“West-sponsored and anti-Islam Takfirism has no connection with Islamic teachings and Takfiri groups have been created to fight the growing wave of affiliation with Islam in the world,” said the AQR general custodian.

At a meeting with Sheikh Isa Qassim, the general custodian of AQR addressed the top cleric of Bahrain as the flag bearer of civil rights of both Shia and Sunni Muslims in the country.

“The majority of the Sunni Muslim brothers are among the sympathizers and supporters of the school of thought of the Infallible Household of the Prophet (pbuh). The affection toward the family of the Prophet (pbuh) is one major commonality of the Islamic Umma.”

He went on to say that, “We are honored to host our Muslim brothers here in Mashhad and the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) is the meeting place of all Muslims including those coming from Bahrain.”

“Takfirism has nothing to do with the teachings of Islam. Takfiri groups have been created and are being supported to destroy the material and spiritual assets of the Muslims.”

The general custodian of Astan Quds Razavi further said: “We are leading a cultural confrontation with Takfirism in various countries in cooperation with our Sunni Muslims and we spare no efforts to support the Muslim brothers involved in physical fight with the American and Zionist mercenaries.”

Hoj. Raeisi also expressed hope that the situation would be suitable for the top Shia cleric to return to Bahrain.

“I hope with the elimination of oppression, threats and persecution, we will observe your constructive presence among the Muslim people of Bahrain. The government in Bahrain should know that oppression may not last long.”
