AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): More than 50 Bahrainis were reportedly detained throughout the last month of 2018.
An online monitoring network reported on Saturday that Bahrain's security forces arrested a total of 58 people in December.
The network also documented dozens of warrantless house raids during the same time period.
The raids were carried out across Bahrain’s towns and villages, including Diraz, Karbabad, Shakhura, Nuwaidrat and Sitra.
The latest figures come amid an ongoing campaign of arrests in the kingdom that activists say targets anti-regime protesters and peaceful dissidents.
The vast majority of those detained in recent years are routinely denied access to legal representation and subjected to ill-treatment in detention.
