AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Gunmen attacked the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Tripoli on Tuesday, killing at least three people and injuring many more.
Attackers stormed the Foreign Ministry headquarters after a car bomb exploded in front of the building. A suicide bomber then blew themselves up.
At least three members of staff were killed and six wounded, a Foreign Ministry source told local media. The health ministry told Reuters one person was killed and nine wounded.
The Interior Ministry ordered the Audit Bureau and National Oil Company headquarters be cleared, local media reported.
In September the NOC headquarters was attacked by ISIS who killed two staff members and injured 10.
No group has yet claimed responsibility, but Al Qaeda and ISIS operate in the country.
A security source, who did not want to be named, said the three attackers were ISIS terrorists.
Libya's foreign minister, Mohamed Siala, is safe, a ministry employee said.
