AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): It will take several days of observation to determine whether the latest surgery performed on Bahrain’s highest religious authority Sheikh Isa Qassim was indeed successful.
That’s according to a team tasked with overseeing his health, which made the announcement shortly after the cleric underwent a spinal operation on Friday.
The 80-year-old has undergone numerous surgeries since arriving in London in early July.
He was initially hospitalized in Bahrain in June for severe pelvic and back pains after spending over a year under house arrest.
