Suicide bomber kills 1, injures 6 in Kabul

The Monday morning suicide attack near election commission in Kabul, Afghanistan has claimed the life of one and injured 6 others, Kabul police spokesman said.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Monday morning suicide attack near election commission in Kabul, Afghanistan has claimed the life of one and injured 6 others, Kabul police spokesman said.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Monday Basir Mojahed said the suicide bomber who wanted to attack a polling staff was targeted by police.

In the shooting, the police officer who shot the attacker was killed and two police officers with 4 polling staff were injured, he added.

Meanwhile, Afghan sources announced that famous commander of Taliban Molla Mahmoud and two others were killed in a conflict with army forces in Pichiragam district, Nangarhar.

On October 23, Taliban forces abducted 20 Afghans in Farah Province because of participating in the country’s parliamentary elections and killed two of them.
