AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Prominent Bahraini anti-regime protester Hajj Majeed Abdulla Hasan was sentenced to six months in prison on Wednesday over his alleged participation in a demonstration back in 2015.
The 68-year-old was detained last month for taking part in what authorities described as an ‘unsanctioned’ Ashura march.
His latest arrest and subsequent conviction came shortly after his release from prison in April when he completed a separate six-month sentence.
Hasan has been detained six times since the outbreak of pro-democracy protests in Bahrain in 2011.
