AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli forces detained at least 23 Palestinians, including a woman, during predawn raids on Monday across the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained one Palestinian in the southern West Bank district of Hebron (Al Khalil), he was identified as Raafat Masalmeh.
In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, four Palestinians were detained; they were identified Muhammad Yousef al-Zir along with his brother Zacharia, Khalid Wajih al-Zir and Muhammad Ali Atallah.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained six Palestinians, PPS identified them as Akram Jumaa Hamayil, Fouad Dar Khalil, 37, Awad Abu Alia, Imad Hamad, Jawad Hama and Rami Karajeh.
In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, five Palestinians were detained, including a woman who was later released, by Israeli forces; they were identified as Fayruz Naalwa, Muhammad al-Bahash, Hamad Hashash, Sous Marshud, and Amar Abu Mustafa.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, PPS confirmed that seven Palestinians were detained; they were identified as Walid Suleiman Abu Sheikha, Louay Hussam Abu al-Ouf, Amid Azmi Naalwa, Laith Bassam Mahdawi, Amro Sahil Awda and Adib Qasem Ibrahim along with his son, Majdi.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,781 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, of whom 65 are female prisoners.
