AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that his nation’s military will strengthen their presence in Idlib and reinforce their established observation posts.
According to Erdogan, Turkey is working with their Russian partners to eliminate the radical groups in the Idlib Governorate, while also dissipating the hostilities between the government and opposition.
Turkey currently has twelve official observation posts in northwest Syria, with most of them concentrated in the Idlib and Aleppo provinces.
The Turkish military also has an observation post in the Latakia Governorate that was not part of the Astana Agreement.
This Turkish observation post is located along the northeastern slope of the Kurdish Mountains; it overlooks much of the Jisr Al-Shughour District.
