AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Seven Palestinians, including two children, were shot and killed by Israeli forces during protests across the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip, on Friday afternoon.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 7 Palestinians were killed identifying them as 14-year-old boy Muhammad Nayif al-Hum, killed by a live bullet in the chest in the al-Breij refugee camp, Iyad al-Shaer, 18, and Muhammad Walid Haniyeh, 23, from the al-Shate refugee camp, Muhammad Bassam Shakhsa, 25, all residents of Gaza City.
The ministry identified the remaining 3 as 12-year-old Nasser Azmi Musbeh, and Muhammad Ali Anshashi, 18, both shot and killed in eastern Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, in addition to Muhammad Ashraf al-Awawdeh, 26, who was pronounced dead at the al-Shifa Hospital after sustaining critical injuries at eastern al-Breij refugee camp.
Spokesperson of the ministry, Ashraf al-Qidra, confirmed that some 506 Palestinians were injured during protests, 90 of whom were injured with live bullets, including 3 critical cases.
Thirty-five children were among the injuries, in addition to four paramedics and three journalists.
The Israeli artillery fired several shells targeting protesters in eastern Gaza City.
"The Great March of Return" protests were launched on March 30th by thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza -- which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege -- who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homelands, now in present-day Israel.
