AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, Iranian prominent Shia jurisprudent, has issued a message on Sunday to denounce the recent terrorist attack on military parade in the southern Province of Khouzestan calling that a proof for deficiency of terrorists and their masterminds, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
This is while different authorities, religious and political figures in Iran and across the globe have denounced the terrorist attack which has left 25 people dead among armed forces and ordinary people.
Ayatollah Noori Hamedani in his message slammed the US, Zionists and masterminds and supporters of terrorist groups in the Middle East region.
“Ahvaz Terrorist attack has once against unveiled the dark face of arrogant powers and their puppets” said the jurisprudent in his message and vowed that the incident will boost the Islamic Revolution which has been maintained during the past four decades by all martyrs sacrificed themselves.
Senior cleric noted that determination of Iran’s armed forces and missile capabilities have troubled enemies’ sleep inspiring them for the blind move to attack the people during parade.
Monday has been announced public mourning in the southern Iranian Province of Khouzestan as people bade farewell with 25 victims of recent terrorist attack.
Saudi-backed al-Ahwaziya terrorist group has claimed responsibility for Saturday morning attack during which four gunmen targeted a military parade held for the Week of Holy Defense in the Iranian city of Ahvaz.
25 people including armed forces and civilians among them a child and a war veteran, were killed in the attack. Three of the assailants were also killed with the fourth one sustaining to his injuries during a security chase.
