AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Bahraini female detainee Medina Ali and Fawzia Mashallah have both had their court hearings adjourned until later this month.
Ali’s appeal against a three-year prison sentence, in a case that has thus far been marred by reports of torture and forced confessions, is due to resume on September 25.
Meanwhile, Mashallah is expecting a final verdict in her case when proceedings resume on September 26.
The 55-year-old who was arrested last December and accused of harboring a fugitive has repeatedly denied all charges.
Both Ali and Mashallah have complained about being denied access to adequate health care in detention and being subjected to other forms of ill-treatment.
