AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Prisoners of conscience housed in one of the buildings in Bahrain’s Jaw Prison are reportedly being denying contact with the outside world.
Bahraini rights campaigners reported on Friday that the reasons for the most recent restrictions are unknown.
Activists also articulated growing concerns among the prisoners’ families, who are unable to communicate with their loved ones.
Political prisoners in Jaw are routinely denied contact with relatives. In most cases the measures are temporary and used as a form of punishment against the detainees.
