Deepening bilateral, regional, int’l ties to have valuable fruits for both nations, World of Islam

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): President Rouhani congratulated Indonesia on Independence Day of the country and expressed hope that deepening bilateral, regional and international relations will have valuable fruits for both nations and the World of Islam.

President Hassan Rouhani’s message is as follows:

Your Excellency Mr Joko Widodo,

President of Indonesia,

I offer my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Indonesia on the 73rd anniversary of independence of that country.

I hope that with political will of the heads of state of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Indonesia and by taking advantage of the existing potentials and opportunities, we witness further development of relations between the two countries in all fields of mutual interest.

Without a doubt, deepening bilateral, regional and international relations will have valuable fruits for not only the two great Iranian and Indonesian nations, but also for the World of Islam.

I wish Your Excellency health and success and the people of Indonesia prosperity and felicity.
