AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ali Mushaima’s condition is reportedly stable despite the fact that the London-based activist lost 7 kilograms since starting his hunger strike 13 days ago.
The director of advocacy at the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (BIRD) Sayed Ahmed AlWadaei tweeted on Monday that Mushaima “began to feel dizziness”.
AlWadaei also shared a video of Mushaima’s doctor paying him a visit at the Bahraini embassy in London where the activist has been camped out since August 1.
Ali, the son of jailed Bahraini opposition leader Hassan Mushaima, is demanding that his father be granted access to proper health care in detention.
Hassan Mushaima is serving a life sentence for his role in Bahrain’s 2011 popular uprising.
