AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Authorities at Bahrain’s Jaw Prison are reportedly harassing visiting family members of prisoners of conscious housed at the facility.
The Gulf Institute for Democracy and Human Rights (GIDHR) reported on Sunday that the visitors are forced to queue for long hours in the scorching desert sun before being allowed to see their loved ones.
According to the rights group, the harassment continues inside the prison.
Over the last year and a half, Bahraini detainees have had to endure extensive restrictions on their right to family visits.
