Two Palestinians, including teen, martyred in Gaza protests

A 15-year-old Palestinian boy succumbed on Saturday morning to wounds he sustained on the 19th Friday of "The Great March of Return" protests alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A 15-year-old Palestinian boy succumbed on Saturday morning to wounds he sustained on the 19th Friday of "The Great March of Return" protests alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza identified the boy as Muath Ziad al-Suri, confirming that he had succumbed to the injuries he sustained, by Israeli live bullets, on Friday afternoon in eastern al-Breij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

On Friday, one Palestinian youth was killed and at least 220 others were injured during protests.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that Ahmad Yahiya Atallah Yaghi, 25, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in eastern Gaza City.

The ministry said that 220 Palestinians sustained different injuries, including 90 injuries with live ammunition.

Al-Suri and Yaghi's death bring the death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since "The Great March of Return" protests began on March 30th to 157.

Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery shelled a monitoring site in eastern Rafah.

Israeli forces also opened live fire at Palestinians gathered at the return camps of eastern Khuzaa in eastern Khan Younis of the southern Gaza Strip.

Palestinians in Gaza marched during the 19th Friday protests under the slogan of "Martyr of Jerusalem, Muhammad Youssef," in remembrance of the killed 17-year-old Palestinian youth.
