AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Yemeni people from all walks of life poured into streets in the northwestern city of Sa'ada to condemn the US-backed war crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries in the Arabian Peninsula country.
The demonstrators attended the massive rally in Sa’ada on Wednesday to voice their outrage over recent heinous crimes committed against the Yemeni nation, including the kidnapping and raping of women in districts occupied by the aggressors.
During the rally, the protesters carried photos and placards in condemnation of the recent crimes committed by the Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries.
The final statement issued at the end of the rally decried the aggressors’ move to abduct the Yemeni women and slammed the United Nations’ silence on such crimes committed in the Arab country by the Saudi and Emirati forces.
The statement also emphasized that the “barbaric crimes” against Yemeni women in Hudaydah were not possible without the US government’s approval.
Yemen’s defenseless people have been under massive attacks by the coalition for more than three years but Riyadh has reached none of its objectives in Yemen so far.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies have been carrying out deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
Over 14,000 Yemenis, including thousands of women and children, have lost their lives in the deadly military campaign.
