(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Republican festival "Woman - symbol of peace and goodness" attended by women of different nationalities and religions from all over the republic, held in Makhachkala, Dagestani capital.
The event was organized by the Department of Education of Dagestani Muftiate, with the support of the Committee on Freedom and conscience and cooperation with religious organizations and the assistance of the Dagestani Ministry of Culture.
The purpose of the event - revival of patriotic, spiritual, moral and cultural values of the beautiful half of Dagestan, the strengthening of friendship, peace and harmony among women-residents of all regions of Russia.
The festival showcased master - classes, performance of amateur groups, demonstration of theatrical scenes, presentations by Islamic schools and kindergarten.
The event was attended by representatives of all cities and districts of Dagestan, as well as guests from the neighboring countries. It is worth noting that each of the regions of the republic was represented by a separate tent, where festival guests could experience the diversity of cultures of the Dagestani peoples, to see women's outfits specific to each nationality, try the food prepared according to ancient recipes, hear a lot of Caucasian languages and dialects. Goryanki cordially greeted each guest, visiting their tent and offered treats accompanied with gifts.
