(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Seven people martyred including one civilian, and two other civilians were injured in terrorist attacks with sniper and macinegun fire on the besieged Shiite towns of al-Fouaa and Kefraya in northern countryside of Idleb.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham terrorists were "heavily shelling" the towns, both in northwestern Idlib Province, and had broken into them late Saturday.
"This is the fiercest attack in around three years," SOHR head Rami Abdel Rahman told Agence France-Presse.
Local sources reported that terrorists positioned in Ram Hamdan area targeted al-Fouaa and Kefraya towns with sniper fire, injuring two civilians.
Later in the afternoon, the sources said that terrorists located in al-Sawaghiya village opened fire with sniper rifles and machineguns on al-Fouaa, martyring seven and causing material damage to houses.
