Cultural Week of Qom in Lebanon;

Hazrat Masoumeh's shrine, Jamkaran's mosque flags raised at Masoumeh's garden in Nabatieh

Hazrat Masoumeh (SA)'s shrine and Jamkaran mosque’s flags were raised in Nabatieh at the presence of a number of Qom's authorities.

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency – ABNA – Hazrat Masoumeh (SA)'s shrine and Jamkaran mosque’s flags were raised in Nabatieh at the presence of a number of Qom's authorities.

The mayor of Nabatieh said: "this garden was designed by an Iranian martyr named Hesam Khoshnevis who served many years in southern Lebanon and helped many people there."
Dr. Ahmad Kahil said: "this garden was named after Masoumeh (SA) by Hesam Khosnevis and we also held a commemoration for him here at this garden."

He continued: "this garden is 6500 meters wide and many plants and trees of different kinds are planted here and more than 1000 people visit and use this garden daily and we also plan to expand this garden's width up to 16000 meters.

Hojjat Al-Islam Ali Nazari Monfared, one of the great teachers of Qom's seminary school also said at the ceremony: " thanks to Masoumeh (SA) Qom has turned into the city of scholars and the biggest Shia seminary school is at Qom."

He also added: "Imam Sadegh (AS) introduces Qom as Ahlul Bayt's shrine and says: "God has a shrine and that's Mecca, the Prophet has a shrine which is Medina, Imam Ali has a shrine and that is Kufa and we have a shrine that is named Qom; soon a woman of my offsprings who is named Fatima will pass away in that city and whoever visits her shrine with knowledge and sincerity will definitively go to heaven."

The deputy of Qom's visitor affairs also said: "having a garden which is named after
Masoumeh (SA) in the city of Nabatieh proves that they deeply love and respect Ahlul Bayt and Imams and many other will come to respect and know her more by studying her biography at this garden."

Yunes Alipoor asked Nabatieh's mayor to place a stone at the flags' side as a symbol in order to remember that these flags were raised at the days of Qom's cultural week in Lebanon.

Qom's cultural week in Lebanon is open for public visit and will be held until May 15th in Nabatieh, Lebanon.
